What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

I understand that life happens, and sometimes plans change. However, to ensure fairness and availability for all clients, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a $100 cancellation fee, which must be paid before booking a new appointment.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will be charged the full cost of the service booked.

  • This policy applies to all cancellations, including those due to illness or personal reasons.

What happens if I forget to turn up to my appointment?

I understand that life can get hectic. However, if you miss your scheduled appointment without providing notice, you will be charged the full cost of the service. Until this fee is settled, we will be unable to confirm any future bookings.

What happens if I'm late to my appointment?

I understand that schedules can be hectic, but out of respect for my time and the needs of other clients, please make every effort to arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment since our sessions are booked in 15-minute increments.

Do you have any policies in place for wedding bookings?

I sure do! Once you have completed the form on the bridal tab, I will respond with a quote, and in that email I will inform you of all policies and how we can work together moving forward in the lead up to your big day to ensure the day runs smoothly.

What are the terms & conditions for gift cards?

  • Validity:
    Purchased gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, while those donated by Miranda Howson Hair remain valid until the expiration date printed on the voucher.

  • Non-Transferability & Redemption:
    Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another individual.

  • Format:
    All gift cards from Miranda Howson Hair are available virtually only.

  • Loss or Theft:
    Gift cards reported as lost or stolen will not be replaced.

  • Service Balance:
    If the cost of the service is less than the value of the gift card, the remaining balance will be retained on file for future visits.

What is your redo policy?

If you are unsatisfied with the results of your hair service, please contact Miranda directly within 7 days of the appointment via any communication.

Eligibility for a Redo

  • Redo services are offered exclusively for the aspects of your service that did not meet your expectations (such as a haircut, colour, or other service components).

  • Eligibility requires that the hair has not been altered by another stylist or through any at-home corrections; if the hair is modified externally, the redo option may be void.

What's the process for Requesting a Redo?

  • Contact Miranda through the provided communication channels immediately within the specified timeframe.

  • Miranda may ask for additional details or a consultation to better understand your concerns and to ensure that the redo is suited to achieving the desired outcome.

What is your refund policy?

1. Partial Refund Eligibility

  • If, after a redo, the desired result remains unachievable, you may be entitled to a partial refund for the specific service element(s) that did not meet your expectations (such as toner, highlights, or foils).

  • Note that refunds are limited to these specific services performed and do not extend to all services rendered during your visit.

2. Evaluation Process

  • Prior to any refund being processed, Miranda may arrange a follow-up consultation to review the work and determine whether a refund is justified.

3. Terms and Conditions

  • Refunds will be issued solely for the particular services that did not achieve the agreed-upon results.

  • It is important to adhere to our request time frame and to avoid any external modifications or interventions, as these actions may nullify your eligibility for a redo or refund.
